We've been getting Nicasio Valley cheese for many Sundays now at the Clement Street Farmers' Market. Staff gives very generous samples, and their cheese is always so tasty. We really love their soft cheeses - our favorites are the Locarno and Foggy Morning. The hard cheeses are also great. We've been meaning to do one of their guided tours and cheese tasting on a weekend when we can get out to Nicasio. You can pre-book on their website for 40$ - sounds so fun for a group. Still one of our farmers' market favorites, and hopefully we'll get out to their ranch soon.

We came into Nicasio Valley Cheese Company on our way to Point Reyes. My family and I come here as part of our planned cheese tour of 3 local cheese companies. This company is very small compared to the other cheese companies that we visited. The shop was small, but there was a window that looked into where they make their cheeses. The was only 1 type of cheese to taste (Nicasio Reserve). The lady that worked there was very nice as was her trainee and both were knowledgeable about their products. Most of their cheeses have won awards. We needed up purchasing the Foggy Morning garlic and basil cheese which was delicious. If we are in the area, we would stop back in to purchase more cheese.

Took the tour and tasting. We had a very enjoyable synopsis of the farmstead, the history of Nicasio, and the cheese making process. The tasting was well executed by Rick, and definitely led to some purchases at the store. Kind of a magical place.

Quaint creamery with a big punch. Amazing cheese. I highly recommend the Foggy morning. Wonderful friendly service. I went a little bit of my way to visit and it was worth it.
